Château Lagrange: Interview with Vice President Keiichi Shiina

August 4, 2014

James recently posted a report on a vertical of Château Lagrange. The winery commemorated the 30th anniversary of Suntory's acquisition of the Saint Julien estate with a vertical tasting of all the wines made during this period. The estate has come a long way, and the vines planted in 1985 immediately after purchase have matured and are at their best.

In this video, Keiichi Shiina, vice president of Lagrange, discusses the motives behind the Japanese acquisition, as well as his experience being Japanese and making wine in the Médoc. Watch the video for the full interview.
