TN: Summerhill Cipes Blanc de Noir

Postby calgarydetail » Sat Jan 08, 2011 6:51 pm

I went out with some friends for sushi then the Popsex! Art exhibit that was in town. After the exhibit we came back to my place and popped a bottle of Summerhill Cipes Blanc de Noir. Summerhill makes some of my favourite sparking wine.

The wine has a nose of strawberry, cherry, peach, yeast, and granny smith apple. The palate offers similar flavours with a slight bread note and much of th apple characteristic.. The mouse is rich and creamy. The acidity is bright but not overpowering. ($29.95 CDN)

A wine that seems to always deliver for me, this time is no exception.
