New Site Challenges

Postby jerryrosenblatt » Wed Sep 21, 2011 3:28 pm

Hi Guys:

Loving the site - have seen most of all of the videos. Get a huge kick out of seeing the Italian producers describe their wines and vineyards with such love.

A few technical items. The tabs at the bottom don't seem to be aligned. When I clicked on FORUM, I was sent to ONE WINE. When I clicked on ONE WINE, I was sent to the FORUM, etc.

Also, when I selected CA NAPA on the right, it showed me there were 4 pages/screens to go through. When I then clicked NEXT, it when to page 2, but now had gone back to sjowing 46 pages.

I trust this is the place for these comments. Only trying to help make everyone's experience better!
Keep up the awesome job.

Jerry R. in Montreal.

Is there a reason why one can search, and see tasting notes & scores (from the forum) without being a subscriber? I noticed this change when the site was updated a week or two back. Is this intended as a teaser for those on the forum that are not subscribers to join? Just curious why you would give access (although very limited) to those who are not willing to put up the monthy or annual fee to join?

Just registered. I am somehow disappointed for the small number of subscribers to the forum. From posts on wine it looks like there are just a handful. I thought JS forum would have had a larger number of people to discuss about wine topics.
One reason is that the free subscription to the site does not let you post to the forum, need another subscription which is definitively not friendly.
It would be nice to get more discussions ongoing ....
