Custom roll piramide , late afternoon smoke, pretty sure I picked this one up early this year from mercer......good burn strong start that is spicy and full bodied.....tad harsh in the middle ,maybe due to being young .....nice finish with chocolet and cinn. notes lingering on the palet. Very much like the customs ive had from PE but not as rich or smooth.....88 points on this one .....will review a PE custom roll once they rest a tad more

Opus X Perfexcion X - so elegant and refined. Quickly becoming my favorite Opus, or any Dominican Puro for that matter.

Saint Luis Rey Exclusivo Asia Pacifico. Great opening with lots of mouth-watering green tea, followed by a pleasant toastiness and dried fruit. Mid-way through, however, the smoke got less interesting, not more. The mild sweetness of this stick paired quite nicely with a caramel macchiato. Over-all, very nice.

Bolivar Gold Medal and a Siglo II, both from 2009. The Sig II was better for smoking at the moment, but the flavors weren't nearly as strong as the BGM... the Bolivar has serious aging potential... just a bit young right now.

Cohiba Behike 52. A frustrating issue with the binder notwithstanding, this was an incredible cigar - subtly but constantly changing, moving between savory elements, hay, green tea, and creamy caramel in the first two thirds, followed up by more woody, peppery flavors in the last third. Smooth and elegant. I'm impressed.

last night i had a Fonseca Reserva Especial. Idk if any of yinz remember these? They came out in 2003. Only came in 1 size 7x54. Fonseca only made 1000 boxes of 50.
These cigars are unlike any other fonseca. Its is a blend of nic ligero, dom from 1996,and a hon criollo wrapper. Aging has mellowed this quite a bit. Toasty with its trademark distinct woody flavor. The leather and bean flavors have most a little of their flavor. Personally I liked it a few years ago when i believe it's flavors were at their peak.

ERDM demi tasse BOA JUN 10 box code ....... sweet taste and very nice aroma right from the get go ....... burn is very good for such a small cigar ....lots of coffee and cinn. in the middle with a short finish but nice aftertase.... 88 points and I do feel these will get better with time! I really like the 4 x 30 ring format wish other cuban cigar makers would make this size !! Nice quick smoke when time is short !

Tatuaje La Verite 2008 - draw was a bit too firm for my taste, but the flavors and burn were excellent!

Partagas Mille Fleur from DIC 08. Sitting by a lake perched on moss covered steps. Burn was beautiful and flawless. Taste was wonderful. An hour of well-spent smoking bliss.

Por Larranaga Asia Pacifico
Medium-bodied, but fairly flavorful, tending more towards a pleasant leatheriness than the SLR or Bolivar Asia Pacificos, making it my favorite of the bunch. :thumbs-up:

Vegas Robaina (Feb 10) Tunneling issues.
Loose draw from the beginning.
Plenty of smoke, white pepper, wood and chocolate. All very mild.

Second of the box, taste ok.
Here's hoping...

Second cigar for the day was a Bolivar Royal Corona.
Had it with a Glenlivet 21.

Burnt well, taste good.
Wood, cedar, chocolate.
If you have one, do it.
