2010 Bordeaux En Primeur: On The Road, Day Four

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

On day four of the Bordeaux Road Show, James stops by the Bordeaux wine merchant house of Ets Jean-Pierre Moueix. Christian Moueix and his son Edouard run the company, as well as oversee its stable of impressive wine estates on the Right Bank from the most prestigious appelations in the Libourne area, particularly St. Emilion and Pomerol. During the tasting, the newly-labeled Belair-Monange was a wonderful surprise, but the real challenge was deciding which wine was better in 2010, Trotanoy or La Fleur-Petrus. Watch the video to find out.
