The opening night of the XVIII Habanos Festival (18th Havana Cigar Festival) took place on February 29 at the Viejo Almacen de Tabaco y Madera, a restored warehouse turned microbrewery close to the pier in Havana Bay. The night was inaugurated with the release of Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 Reserva 2012. More than 1,500 guests enjoyed the new cigar while overlooking the beautiful view of the bay and listening to one of the many bands dispersed throughout the terrace surrounding the warehouse. It was a casual and fun night where cigar lovers, professionals and the press got a chance to talk and enjoy cocktails, amazing Cuban food and great music.
