In just a span of two weeks, James and Jack Suckling with their team visited more than 60 wineries and spoke to hundreds of winemakers and vintners. After tasting more than 770 wines from the 2017 vintage, they concluded their thoughts in the 2017 Bordeaux En Primeur report, which underlines how the 2017 vintage produced hundreds of excellent wines despite the terrible frosts in April last year. It’s not a great vintage but still a surprisingly good one.
