Antinori's Solaia & Tignanello: Two Supreme Tuscans – The Wine

After visiting the vineyards of Solaia and Tignanello (Click for Part 1 in the vineyards), James tastes and discusses both the 2010 Solaia and the 2010 Tignanello with chief winemaker Renzo Cotarella.

According to Renzo, 2010 is going to be a legendary vintage in the history of these two wines. The long growing season created a near-perfect balance between tannins, sugar and flavors: the wines are full and rich but are able to maintain vibrancy as well as elegance.
