Bordeaux 2011: Château La Lagune

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

In this video, Caroline Frey, the owner and winemaker of Haut-Médoc's Château La Lagune and the Rhone’s Jaboulet, explains the 2011 vintage in Bordeaux. She views the high temperatures and dry weather in the middle of the summer as beneficial for the 2011 growing season. This heat and drought caused the vines to stop producing leaves and begin focusing on the grapes exclusively. This helped the grapes achieve the right level of maturity.

Watch the video and discover how the climate expressed itself in the 2011 Bordeaux vintage.
