Brunello 2010: Altesino

In this video, Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini, owner of Altesino and Caparzo estates in Montalcino, describes the 2010 vintage. So far, the 2010 vintage is well on the way to becoming a Brunello di Montalcino modern classic. The wine seems to be in perfect balance with what most producers describe as elegance and power. For Elisabetta, the vintage reminds her of the 2004 vintage, which was also a warm vintage, but despite the warm weather, the wines retained a certain level of elegance.
