Maison Alex Gambal was founded in 1997 when Alex Gambal left his career in real estate to pursue winemaking in Burgundy. Always aiming to use only the highest quality grapes for his wines, this sometimes means production is limited. For 2013, a vintage affected by hail, although many grapes were damaged, the good grapes were very ripe, according to the winemaker. This resulted in a smaller quantity of wines that are yet delicious.
