Burgundy: Domaine Faiveley – Mercurey Blanc 2013

Saturday, September 26, 2015

In this video, Julien Bordet of Domaine Faiveley explains the Mercurey Blanc 2013. When asked why it’s so outstanding, Julien asserts that it’s because of the interesting, limestone terroir where the grapes are grown. He also says the 2013 vintage is good because of low yields, as it was difficult to mature a lot of grapes in this year. Watch the video for more, and to see which other vintage Julien thinks the 2013 is comparable to.
