In this video, Alfred Tesseron, owner of Château Pontet-Canet in Pauillac on Bordeaux's Left Bank, speaks about his 2010 vintage. James' initial observation was regarding the wine's drinkability. Alfred replied that yes, 2010 can be drunk young, but it can also be aged. Pontet-Canet 2010 is, according to Alfred, more serious than their 2009 vintage.
