Cheval Blanc: 2010 Bordeaux in Bottle

Monday, March 4, 2013

In this video, James talks with Pierre Lurton, managing director of Cheval Blanc, about the winery's 2010 vintage. Pierre is excited about the vintage, saying it's a fantastic surprise, especially when it comes to the Cabernet Franc, which is not an easy grape variety to deal with.

With the wine being 70% Cabernet Franc, Pierre states that it is amazing with body, structure and a lot of definition. He compares it to 1998, having the same purity -- both are great wines, with the 2010 being particularly outstanding. Watch the video to get all of Pierre's thoughts.
