Clerc Milon’s New Winermaker

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

I had a great conversation with the new director of Bordeaux’s Château Clerc Milon, the sister château to Mouton Rothschild. Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy worked for a number of years in Napa Valley’s Opus One before coming to Clerc. The winery located in Pauillac, was built last year and resembles more something from the New World than old Bordeaux. However, Danjoy has wonderful aspirations for Clerc in building its reputation even more in the world.
