Bordeaux 2011: Château Hosanna with Edouard Moueix

I had a good conversation about the intricacies of the 2011 vintage with Edouard Moueix, the son of the Bordeaux legend Christian Moueix. He and his father own such wonderful Right Bank wineries as La Fleur Petrus, Trotanoy, and Hosanna. They are also some of the most important wine merchants in Bordeaux with their Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix. Our discussion followed an impressive tasting of about two dozen of their best wines from 2011. The barrel samples showed a lovely balance and restrain for the vintage.
