Gott's Roadside

Gott's Roadside on the main street in the town of Saint Helena is a bit of a gastronomic institution in Napa Valley. It looks like a normal good-old American burger joint from the outside, but in the kitchen it delivers fabulous hamburgers as well as everything from seared tuna sandwiches to fish tacos. I had to have my videographer Jacobo shoot a slightly tongue-in-cheek clip on the eatery when I was there after a visit to Dominus. My tasting colleague Bob Parker says Gott's is the best burger in America. I am not sure about that, but I am 100 points on the burger I had! It went well with a 2009 Siduri Pinot Noir.
