Great Wines of the World returned to the USA with a bang, making history as the biggest JamesSuckling.com event in The Big Apple. It was the New York debut of Great Wines of the World, and what a debut it was - more than 2,000 people participated in the tastings, with people coming together from all over the globe to taste and share outstanding wines from 42 of the world’s best wine-growing regions.
Many guests commented on the extraordinary wines being served – altogether there were 410, with most rated 94 points or more by James and his team of tasters. There were also eight 100-point perfect-scoring wines to taste.
"It's really fantastic to do an event like this and meet so many people, and see how enthusiastic they are about great wines," James announced to the guests.
