With three chateaux located in the heart of Provence, in both the Côtes de Provence and Bandol appellations, Domaines Ott produces some of the best rosé around. The vines -- mainly grenache, syrah and cinsault -- grow at the top of limestone hills, producing extremely low yields that give depth and complexity to the wines while retaining freshness. These are wines that, as Christophe Renaud of Domaines Ott remarks, “are made for gastronomy,” yet they still remain approachable and fun.
In this video, Christophe and James -- during a dinner on Hong Kong’s Lamma Island at the Rainbow Seafood Restaurant -- comment on the congeniality between Asian seafood and Domaines Ott rosé. Watch the video for the full discussion.
