While 2011 was a hot and sometimes challenging vintage, this single-vineyard bottling shows the beauty and detail the year could produce. Aldo describes it as deep and complex, with aromas of prunes, black truffle and forest floor. The palate is full-bodied, velvety, and creamy, with fully resolved tannins leading to a super umami and very long finish.
