James sits down with Giorgio Rivetti, co-owner and leading winemaker at La Spinetta to discuss the 2007 Barolo Campè. What makes these wines so special? For Giorgio Rivetti the obvious answer is the vineyard. The vineyards at La Spinetta were carefully selected, all of them having the south, south-east or south west exposure so important in the area. The age of the vines ranges from 35 to 65 years of age, but the year around effort put into the vineyard and the extremely low yelds also play a pivotal role in the quality of these wines. Watch Giorgio and James discuss La Spinetta's wines. Enjoy!
