Mexican Wine: Arrival in Baja Wine Country

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

It takes about two hours to get from Tijuana to Baja California wine country. The roads wind along the coast with some of the best surfing beaches in North America that change to breathtaking steep cliffs. It’s a rather desolate coast with small villages along the way until you reach the port city of Ensenada. The coast also has some of the richest and best fishing grounds in the Pacific. Most of the catch is sent directly to the fish markets of Tokyo, but I wasn’t there for fish. I was there for wine. Check out the vineyards on the video!
