Moraga Vineyards: 2006, 2005, 2003, 1996

Thursday, February 10, 2011

James visited one of the most remarkable grape-growing properties in the world: the amazing vineyards of Moraga in Bel Air, Calif., right across from the Getty Museum in the hills of Los Angeles.

Only a man with the vision of owner Tom Jones would think to grow five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, two acres of Merlot and two acres of Sauvignon Blanc in one of the most exclusive residential areas on the planet!

James and Tom tasted the Moraga Proprietary Reds from the 1996, 2003, 2005 and 2006 vintages, as well as Moraga's spectacular Sauvignon Blanc from 2007 and 2008.
