Renato Ratti: 2000, 2005, 2006 Barolos

In this never-before-seen video from our archive, James visited Renato Ratti to taste the 2006, 2005, and 2000 Barolos with Pietro Ratti. Pietro took charge of the Piedmont estate in 1988 after his father Renato's death, and continues with the mission of maintaining the utmost respect for the grapes and vineyards of origin.

The 2005 vintage was the first to be made at Renato Ratti's new winery, being totally crushed and vinified there. Watch as James gives his thoughts on it and both the 2006 and 2000 vintages.
