Retail Tasting: Zachys

Thursday, March 3, 2011

It was a cold and snowy morning in Scarsdale, New York, when I showed up at Zachys Wine & LIquor to shoot a video tasting with owner Jeff Zacharia and buyer Andrew McMurray. I have been going to Zachys for years. It has to be one of the best wine shops in the United States, especially with the fabulous layout and stock of wines available. Zachys has been in business since 1944. However, it's never been better than now. Check out and see how Jeff and Andrew do with my retailer tasting challenge. They found a couple of real values including a gorgeous everyday 2009 Bordeaux for about $14.
