In Case You Missed It: Originally posted December 1, 2010

A winery such as Napa Valley’s Spottswoode is what excites me about being back in California and rating the best wines of my home state! I visited with one of the owners Beth Novak Milliken as well as her winemaker Jennifer Williams, and I was impressed with their mellow determination to organic viticulture and fine winemaking. Their wines are so real, refined yet powerful and full of depth and character. They are clearly great California Cabernet Sauvignons!
