Chianti: Barone Ricasoli

Sunday, August 26, 2012

James sat down with owner of Barone Ricasoli Francesco Ricasoli to taste it's Castello di Brolio wines. Castello di Brolio is a blend of carefully selected Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the estate's vineyard. The vineyard is located at 450 meters above sea level with a south/southwest exposure. In this video, James comments on the recent vintages of 2006, 2007 and 2008 Castello di Brolio. Watch James discuss with owner Francesco Ricasoli the three different vintages back to back.
