James talks with Isaac, Eduardo and Manuel Muga, the third generation of La Rioja winery Bodegas Muga, about their latest releases. Muga's flagship wines are reds, including their Reserva and Seleccion Especial.
"When we think the vintage hasn't been perfect for us in terms of conditions, then we are going to focus all our efforts either on one wine, which is the Reserva or ... on the Seleccion Especial," Eduardo Muga says. They taste several Muga offerings, including the Muga Rioja Reserva 2018, which still has four months to go in bottle before it is released to the market. James calls it "really delicious already," but adds that in four more months, "it'll just be perfect then."
