Thursday, July 4, 2013

For 20 years, Patrick Léon was the managing director of Château Mouton Rothschild and was responsible for supervising winemaking at d’Armailhac, Clerc Milon, Le Petit Mouton, Aile d’Argent, Opus One in California, Almaviva in Chile, Domaine de Lambert & Barn’ Arques in the Languedoc, and Mouton Cadet in Bordeaux.

Today, Patrick owns and manages Château Les Trois Croix in Fronsac and is chief winemaker at Château d'Esclans. This is a man who has made some of the best wines in the world.
