This stunning dry riesling is Senior Editor Stuart Pigott's Wine Crush this week. The Wegeler Riesling Rheingau Feinherb 2023 has a racy energy that is wrapped in a restrained juiciness to give a wonderful harmony on the barely medium-bodied palate. Fantastic freshness and filigree. The cuvee for this wine includes the steep Hoelle site of Johannisberg, planted in 1966.
