Associate Editor Andrii Stetsiuk’s Wine Crush this week is a terroir-driven red from Australia, the Mayer Pinot Noir Yarra Valley Dr. Mayer 2021. It’s a pristine wine with notes of aged tangerine peel, white pepper, dried cherries, preserved strawberries and wet stones. You'll find a lot of smoky, earthy nuances, but it's also clean and ethereal, with a medium body and a velvety and lingering mouthfeel.
