Château Beauséjour-Duffau-Lagarosse St.-Emilion 1982

It was wonderful to find this bottle in a wine bar in Tokyo just after tasting the legendary 1990 in Hong Kong a few days before. Granted, I don't think the 1990 Beausejour I had in Hong Kong was a prefect bottle but the 1982 certainly very close. Great stuff. It was so complex with fabulous aromas of chocolate, spice and berry. So much intensity to it with a full body and a flavorful finish. This is a wine to seek out. Crazy quality. And not showing any sign of decline in quality. 97 points
