2009 Christine Nadalie Haut-Médoc Clos La Bohème

Drank this with Mike D and some friends in New York City last night. It was served blind and some thought it was a California Cab due to its opulent fruit, but it wasn't jammy. So it still seemed Bordeaux. Shows the magic of the 2009 vintage. The red is a layered and rich wine with blueberry and licorice character. Full body with velvety tannins and a very juicy fruit. Extracted yet excellent. Bridge for serious California Cabernet Sauvignon lovers. Fun to drink now but better in 2015. 93 points.
